I know that there are a lot of moms who want to stay home with their growing children but can’t afford to quit working.
There are a lot of reasons for moms to want to stay home besides just the desire to spend quality time with their kids. I know a family member who had her young son in day care and the child constantly had colds and illnesses which she attributed to the contact with the other kids in the nursery. The effect was she spent many hours at the doctor’s office and had to take off from her job. There was also the cost of the doctor’s visits which put a strain on the family budget. She finally did decide to stay home and the child does not have the frequent illnesses and they are both happier. Another acquaintance was spending so much on day care that it was not worth working and spending so much of her salary on daycare. She looked into the possibility of work at home and decided she could do it if she could find something that would pay her well enough.
The problem that both of these moms had was finding a good legitimate work opportunity that allowed them to make an income that would fit their budget and they could be comfortable with.
The difficulty of finding a satisfying job is one millions of moms face when trying to make that move to home work.
I have a resource which will help moms all in one place
